Ultrases Ön İşleminin Mısırın Kurutma Sırasındaki Fiziksel Özelliklerine Etkisi

In this study, the effect of some pre-treatments (conventional and 40 kHz 200 W ultrasound soaking) on corn drying was studied. One-hour pre-treated samples were dried at 80, 90 100 °C in laboratory type convective air dryer for 240 min time. The moisture contents physical characteristics such as length, width, thickness, equivalent diameter, volume, sphericity, thousand kernel weight hectoliter each temperature analyzed every 60 during drying. When conventional soaking compared range 80-100 minutes corn, changes reduction rates content, thousand-kernel weight, diameter volume values 77-86% 87-90%, 24-27% 26-29%, 10-13% 19-20%, 3-10% 4-9%, 9-25% 11-25%, respectively. results research analyzed, pre-treatment, time dimensions (length, thickness), grains found to be significant (P≤0.05).
